Do I need to be in Zambia to apply? ▾
No. The entire application process is handled remotely through your Student Portal. You upload your documents online, we handle everything in person in Zambia on your behalf. You only need to travel once you have your offer letter and are ready to enrol.
What is ZAQA verification and why is it required? ▾
ZAQA is the Zambia Qualifications Authority. Under the ZAQA Act No. 8 of 2024, all Zambian universities are legally required to verify your academic qualifications before enrolling you. As a Zimbabwean student your O-Level and A-Level results are foreign qualifications that must be verified. We handle this process entirely — it is included in every application fee.
How long does it take to get an offer letter? ▾
Private universities — UNILUS, Cavendish and Eden — typically respond within 3 to 5 working days from the date of submission. Government universities — UNZA and Levy Mwanawasa Medical University — take 7 to 14 working days. These timelines begin after your payment is confirmed and we have submitted your application.
What documents do I need? ▾
You will need your passport, a passport photo and your O-Level results. If you are applying for Medicine, Pharmacy, Dental Surgery or Engineering you will also need your A-Level results. Proof of payment is required before we begin processing. All documents are uploaded directly on the Student Portal.
How do I pay? ▾
We currently accept Bank Transfer, Mukuru and Remitly. After submitting your application you select your preferred payment method and WhatsApp us — we send you the payment details immediately. Once we confirm your payment your application process begins.
What does the application fee cover? ▾
Every EduPath application fee is all-inclusive. It covers the university application fee, ZAQA qualification verification, registrar document certification, document printing and preparation, physical in-person submission at the university and full follow-up until your offer letter is received. There are no hidden charges.
Can I apply to more than one university? ▾
Yes. We offer double application packages for UNILUS and Eden, Cavendish and Eden, or UNILUS and Cavendish. ZAQA verification is done once and covers both applications, so the combined price is better value than applying separately.
I am not sure if my results qualify. Can you advise me? ▾
Absolutely. WhatsApp us before you apply and tell us your results. We will honestly advise you on which programs and universities you are eligible for. This advice is completely free and there is no obligation to apply.
